2020 AYP SUMMER CAMP is coming!
With Stage 1 of Alberta's relaunch, we have decided to continue to run our Summer Camps, with a start date beginning on June 29th.
We will be adhering to the Relaunch Guide for Day Camps and we will be constantly following the government's rules and limitations for any further updates.
As such, we have made changes to how we will run our summer camps. Each camp will run for one week long, totaling eight camps throughout the summer. Camps will be from Monday - Thursday, unless there is a holiday, and they will run from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Following the risk mitigation protocol of operating in cohorts of 10 people, we will be accepting six participants per camp.
Dear Families of AYP,
As we are sure you are all aware of by now, the direction from Alberta Health Services in conjunction with the Ministry of Education announced on sunday that all schools, out-of school programming and daycares sites are temporarily cancelled until further notice as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the majority of our programs are run out of the schools themselves, AYP will therefore be cancelling all C.O.L.S. after school programs, auxiliary programs(Healthy Heroes, Explorers, Art, Junior Leaders, Grade 7 Prep, Homework Help, Junior High) and one-on-one mentoring until further notice. If you are enrolled in Spring Break camp, please refer to the separate email we will be sending.
We realize that these are extraordinary times. We will keep you posted on updates on groups as they become available. Please continue to take care of yourself and your family and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time. If your family is in need of any extra resources, please reach out to AYP during business hours or call 211.

With each of our programs, our focus is to create a learn-through-play environment and encourage the development of effective living skills, the pursuit of healthy lifestyle choices, and the connection of families to the community.
Today, AYP offers 8 auxiliary programs, and 13 after school programs in various Northeast Edmonton locations. In 2018, AYP supported 428 unique children and 316 unique families.
Through our Healthy Snack Program we have offered 7733 healthy snacks to 498 unique children.
